Thank you to everyone who submitted an igloo for our very first contest, Summer Vibes. We received a grand total of 78 submissions, which is more than what we were initially expecting! As this was our first time hosting an igloo contest, we as a team were unsure as to what would be the most effective way of allowing our fellow penguins to vote for their favourite igloo. As such, we are asking our lovely community for feedback on what they enjoyed about the contest, what could be improved or changed, and other feedback and suggestions. More about this can be found below!
Because of our first igloo contest being such a success, we are happy to say that we're going to be hosting them on a monthly basis! Information, including submission dates, theme, and where to vote will be announced both on our blog and on our Discord.
Top 3 Igloos
Now with all of that being said, here are the top 3 submissions voted by the community! Be sure to congratulate these winners if you see them on the island.

3rd Place - angel
In 3rd place, we have the whimsical igloo made by angel! Angel is known in the community for making some amazing igloos, and this one is certainly no exception. Whatever your summer vibe, whether that being taking a swim in the sea, having a cocktail by the beach with friends, exploring and camping in a forest, you can find yourself enjoying yourself at this relaxing igloo. Congrats to Angel for being our first 3rd place igloo contest winner!
2nd Place - MoraliTea
Our runner up goes to MoraliTea! The creativity of this igloo really stood out to us, as they made their very own summer themed drive in movie theatre! As well as being able to watch a movie within the comfort of your own car, you can also experience a community pool, juice and cocktail bar, and various snack vendors serving popcorn fix. Just don't rustle too loud and annoy your fellow penguins! What movie do you associate with summer? Congrats on your 2nd place submission!
1st Place - guts
The winner of our first igloo contest goes to guts! Guts is always busy in-game creating a new igloo, which we are always excited to see when they are showcased in our igloo-showcase channel on our Discord. For their summer vibes submission, they went above and beyond to create their very own waterpark, featuring a lazy river, wave machine, and water slide. After you have dried off, there is an on-sight restaurant serving all of your summer snacks and drinks to quench your thirst. Congratulations on winning our first igloo contest guts!
